Worcestershire Youth Cabinet Elections

The deadline for young people to nominate themselves to stand in the Worcestershire Youth Cabinet and UK Youth Parliament is Friday 6th December. Attached a nomination form for you – please do pass this on to anyone that you think may be interested in being part of the elections. A big thank you to those that have already sent forms in on behalf of young people.

We are not necessarily looking for the most academic high achievers, we want young people who are passionate about getting involved and trying to change things in order to help other young people and are aged 11-17, we are sure you must know a few of them.

As ever, we are more than happy to come and talk to anyone that you think will be interested in standing in the elections and we can provide much more information, though if you Google Worcestershire Youth Cabinet you get a fair bit of info (not to mention what is on their Twitter and Facebook).

Attached is a short power point which might answer some of the questions young people may have, we use it for school assemblies but it could be used in most settings .
If they do put themselves forward we will invite them to a candidate information session to find out more about what is involved before they commit to anything.
