Tournament win in penalty shootout for Droitwich Dragons U13

The Dragons won the Drakes Broughton mini tournament in a penalty shootout between the top two teams who finished with identical records. This was the 5th time competing in the event and first victory so a fitting end to a good season. The final game versus Nunnery Wood was winner takes all and despite chances at both ends it ended 0-0 in sweltering conditions. Goalkeeper Dan Blackmore saved the first three Nunnery penalties and successful conversions by Will Atherton, Charlie Price and Samuel Lea was enough to secure the win. Well done to whole squad who all played their part in the successful day.
